So louder for the people in the back. Our favourite festival. CMC Rocks. And I would say most people's favourite festival. Yeah, we we can't, yeah. We can't hide. We can't hide it. Sorry guys. But yes, we are so, so, so excited because we're gonna be we actually did a little poll on our Instagram yesterday and we're gonna be talking through CMC Rocks lineup predictions, mostly just the headliners. Actually, that was what we asked.

But I also think before we do that, a couple people asked about CMC and like what to expect and things. So I thought maybe we could just talk about that, and like for someone who's never been before, because honestly, if you haven't been, you need to go.

Okay, so let's tell everyone what it is first. I think so. Starting off strong, CMC Rocks is a three-day-long music festival, it's a camping festival, and it's in Ipswich, which is about an hour from Bruzi, which is yeah, it's in a rural area. You can stay, but most people camp.

I would recommend camping. I think it adds so much to the atmosphere and like the whole festival. They also have a special stage which has an like after party after the festival, and you can only go to that stage uh if you're camping. And so, like Gavin Adcock did another performance, Braxton Keith and Tyler Braden all did performances at that tailgate stage that only the campers were able to see, and arguably were some of the best performances of and like the most fun to be a part of. I would say those five performances. Closing out the vessel would be like the coolest thing, because then they also have DJ sets after that tailgate stage, and that's just for campers as well.

There's just maximum vibes, and the whole like process of going through the campsite and like talking to your neighbours and like you're walking in and out the whole time. It's just so cute.

I couldn't even imagine like driving in an Airbnb afterwards. Because like it's the night never ends because you're just going from one place to the other and then to the swag.

People come with huge setups though, yeah, like big marquees, like they look like they're there for like four weeks. They probably do get there quite early. I think you can drive in on Wednesday. Yeah, even Tuesday.

Maybe even Tuesday night, because there's also if you camp, you can have Thursday night as part of the festival. So there's like performances on Thursday night before the festival even begins. And you can, I think, go to Charlie's Bar, which is like the best place on earth.

Yeah, so there's two three main two main stages, and then one like bar that you can go and see performances at. Yeah. Um, called Charlie's Bar, and it's like a traditional honky tonk. And then the two main stages are oh, technically there's three main stages. There's the tailgate stage, which is the one for campus, and then there's the rebel and the stampede stages, which are the two main stages right next to each other. So, like when you get a main headliner, they don't have like that long period where they just go from stage to stage. It's it's such a good setup.

And you can see so many people because you're like, even if you're on the side, you can still see.

And I feel like you can get close because it's spread out so long, because some people are lining up to be on the bar for like one artist who might be on that stage versus like another artist who might be on that stage. So it spreads it out, so it's fantastic setup. Yes, that's pretty much what CMC is in a nutshell. Yeah, so drive up, you have to pay for um your ticket and your campsite, and then obviously, like food and drink is all inside, or you can just bring your own food and drink as well.

Like, that's so many people. Um, who they're who they think they're gonna be the headliners. We wanted to hear everyone's theories. Okay, I won't like saying I'll make it anonymous.

100%, and she's getting so many support act acts in America, like she's supporting Morgan uh Morgan Mullen, like that's so hard to like turn down to then come to Australia. Yeah. I also think fun fact, she's been on the video screen of CMC Rocks twice. Why? Because when Koe Wetzel performed, he sung his song with her and she was on the video screen. And then when not live, no, no, no, but just there, and then Cameron Marlowe as well. When he played his song with her, she was on the screen. So it's funny, she's like, her songs have already been played at CMC, just not her, not her.

I know everyone keeps talking about it, but it's actually crazy seeing how much she has infiltrated Australia in mainstream culture. It's wild. Everyone's talking about her, everyone knows who she is, knows who she is, which is so crazy as a woman in country music in America, like let alone like like yes, like maybe Morgan Rollins songs and yes, Luke Home songs, but like Ella is the first female to really, really break through.

Whoa! Yep. Number seven, Ella Langley and Morgan Wallen. I can't love you anymore. No way. Number eight, Olivia Dean, number nine, Livia Dean, and then ten, Bruno Mars. Someone kick Bruno Mars off that thing. There's two male artists, Tayman Parla and Bruno Mars. But that's insane. Eight out of ten are female.

The fact that a lot of festivals in Australia have stopped running in the last few years, yet country music festivals have been popping off. They sell out pretty much every time. Yeah, there's now multiple multi-day touring festivals that specifically focus on country music. Yeah, then no one's talking about it.

Versus like Blues Fest got cancelled, um Splendor in the Grass. All these festivals aren't able to like Spilt Milk just came back.
